The Florida Athletics Softball Program was founded in 2023 by Steve and Sheree Gonzalez, however the groundwork for this program and our culture began in 2003 with the Lady Lunatics Fastpitch Organization. Our program is a non-profit 501c3 organization. Our focus is on the development of our players, while positioning them to have the best experiences competing and earning scholarship opportunities that will provide them with a quality education.

​Our coaching staff is as knowledgeable about the recruiting process as they are about the game. We have helped 250+ players secure collegiate scholarships. ​We believe in educating the players and their parents about the recruiting process, providing valuable tools and information to streamline the process and ensure that they have the support needed.

Our commitment is deeply rooted in crafting an environment that not only amplifies our passion for this great sport and also provides student-athletes with an unparalleled opportunity to showcase their softball abilities and talents.
 

Within our program’s framework, we place a strong emphasis on cultivating a positive and engaging atmosphere. We strive to educate our student-athletes on the rules of the sport in addition to technical and mechanical aspects of the game. 

Florida Athletics Softball is a franchise of a nationally ranked/recognized organization. Our program is designed to provide female student-athletes with experienced collegiate, high school, and travel ball coaches who understand what it takes to compete at the next level. Our program is centered around the needs of the player FIRST. It's our mission to provide these young ladies with the best environment to succeed in the sport and offer every opportunity achieve their individual goals and the ability to fulfill their dreams of playing collegiate softball.
