How our program began?

The Florida Athletics Softball Program was founded in 2023 by Steve and Sheree Gonzalez, however the groundwork for this program and our culture began in 2003 with the Lady Lunatics Fastpitch Organization. Our program is a non-profit 501c3 organization. Our focus is on the development of our players, while positioning them to have the best experiences competing and earning scholarship opportunities to further their education.

​Our staff is as knowledgeable about the recruiting process as they are about the game. We have helped 300+ players secure collegiate scholarships. ​We believe in educating the players and their parents about the recruiting process, providing valuable tools and information to streamline the process and ensure that they have the support needed. 

Our program is designed to provide our athletes with an experienced coaching staff who understand what it takes to compete at the next level. Our program is centered around the needs of the player FIRST. It's our mission to provide these young ladies with the best environment to succeed in the sport and offer every opportunity to achieve their individual goals and the ability to fulfill their dreams.
